“We need the CCPA to remind us that our dreams of a decent, egalitarian society are reasonable — indeed that with a little work, they are practical. And I love that practicality, that protection of the dream of the possible.”

CCPA-Manitoba is releasing the 2010 Alternative Municipal Budget on Thursday September 9th at 10:30 a.m. at the Magnus Eliason Recreation Centre, 430 Langside Street.
This is a timely event as Winnipeggers consider the future of their city in the run-up to the October 27th civic election.
The Alternative Budget clearly delineates revenue sources and spending options to realize Winnipeggers desire for a greener, more equitable and exciting city.
“We need the CCPA to remind us that our dreams of a decent, egalitarian society are reasonable — indeed that with a little work, they are practical. And I love that practicality, that protection of the dream of the possible.”
