CCPA-BC videos on NFB website

BC Office | Update

In response to the recession, the National Film Board has launched a website called GDP to gather stories from across Canada about "the far-reaching effects of the crisis in our lives and communities." We encourage you to check out the site-- the stories are insightful and thought-provoking, and illustrate a lot of the themes we've explored on a broad scale in our own economic research.

The CCPA was invited to add some of our  materials to the site-- interviews with welfare recipients and activists from our Poverty Amid Plenty project. You can watch and comment on the videos on the GDP website, and check out the whole Poverty Amid Plenty project here.

The CCPA Monitor is the only place I know that one can go to for accurate and honest reporting on the state of the world. I would hate like hell to ever be without The CCPA Monitor; it would be like losing my sight and my hearing. I heartily recommend it to anybody who gives a damn about the condition of the world.
