“We need the CCPA to remind us that our dreams of a decent, egalitarian society are reasonable — indeed that with a little work, they are practical. And I love that practicality, that protection of the dream of the possible.”
— Naomi Klein
On Wednesday, September 29th at 9:00 am the CCPA–MB is releasing its latest report at the Freight House (Door5), 200 Isabel Street. The launch is part of a one-day conference entitled “Building Positive Relationships” organized by the Coalition of Community-Based Youth-Serving Agencies (CCBYSA). “Meeting the Needs of Youth” draws upon interviews with 33 CCBYSA youth workers to address two questions: What are the issues that youth in Winnipeg face? What are the difficulties youth-serving agencies encounter when helping the populations of youth they serve?
