About Us

The CCPA’s National Office was established in 1980 when the Centre was founded. Located in Ottawa, it coordinates the CCPA’s national research agenda and publishes reports, studies, books and commentary on a wide range of public policy issues.

The office also publishes The Monitor, a monthly magazine sent free to all members, and Our Schools / Our Selves, a quarterly education journal.

The National Office houses four ongoing projects: the Education Project, the Trade and Investment Research Project, the Growing Gap Project, and the Alternative Federal Budget Project.

Welcome to the National Office

Bruce Campbell“I believe that ideas matter deeply in determining our future as a nation. The CCPA is one of Canada’s leading sources of progressive policy ideas. Our work is rooted in the values of social justice and environmental sustainability. It is authoritative and accessible to a broad  audience. As non corporate-funded policy think tanks continue to be silenced, the importance of the Centre has never been greater.”
