Join us in Ottawa on June 5th for an evening with Bruce Campbell and Tony Clarke to discuss national energy policy. The authors will the address negative effects of unregulated corporate-led bitumen development on the environment and the Canadian economy, and its effect on rising interprovincial and interpersonal inequality. Canadian energy security, management of petroleum wealth, strategies for a low carbon future, and lessons from Norway, will be among the issues discussed.

Bruce Campbell is the author of "The Petro-path Not Taken: Comparing Norway and Canada-Alberta's Management of Petroleum Wealth" and is Executive Director of the Canadian Centre for Policy Alternatives.
Tony Clarke is the co-author of" Bitumen Cliff: Lessons and Challenges of Bitumen Mega-Developments for Canada's Economy in an Age of Climate Change" and is President of the Polaris Institute Board.
