Jesse Carlson is an Assistant Professor of Sociology at Acadia University. Current research projects include cultural-structural analyses of ‘essential worker’ policies during and beyond the COVID-19 pandemic, a study of intersections between settler colonialism and prejudice against children, and a study of theories of activism, policy, and public opinion connected to global warming.
