Applications are now being accepted for Next Up: a leadership program for young people committed to social and environmental justice. This is an amazing, intensive and transformative program the CCPA co-hosts for young social change activists between the ages of 18 and 32, in Saskatoon, Vancouver, Edmonton, Calgary and Ottawa. In each city, an impressive group of young people will be selected for an intense seven-month program. Participants will develop life-long relationships, explore different leadership styles, meet some of their province’s leading change-makers, learn new leadership and organizing skills, and be exposed to current social justice issues and progressive governance.
Application deadline for Next Up Saskatchewan: Friday, September 13, by 11:00pm, Saskatchewan Time (deadlines vary for each province). The program runs from October 2013 to May 2014. Please forward this to individuals, organizations, institutions and your progressive networks. And take a few minutes to think about young people you know for whom this would be a great experience.
Thank you in advance for helping us find fabulous young leaders for Next Up 2013/14 — years from now you'll be thankful you did! Application forms and more information can be found at: http://www.nextup.ca/how-to-apply/
