Tockman is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Washington’s Jackson School of International Studies, with support from the Social Science and Humanities Research Council of Canada (SSHRC). He holds a PhD in Political Science from the University of British Columbia, and studies indigenous rights and the implementation of the UN Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples (UNDRIP) in the Americas.
