Health Canada putting profit before health in drug regulation harmonization

Health Canada is holding its final consultations on proposals to “modernize” standards on prescription drugs this week. A new CCPA study by Dr. Joel Lexchin examines Health Canada’s harmonizing initiatives to date, part of the modernization initiative, and finds they have been putting private profit ahead of public health.
